Last season saw Kanto Celts take 4th spot ahead of Panthers FC by a goal difference of +2. Saturday the capacity crowd at Hachioji Park got to see how both teams had improved their squad over the Summer months. After the disappointment of failing to gain promotion last season British Embassy FC were out to lay down a marker in their opening TML match of the season. They certainly did that with a 8-1 victory over Suns FC. A hat trick from Kentaro Takahashi and a brace from James Pounder helped the Embassy claim this weeks FJ TOTW title. Some people fear the Summer 7s. A 9:30 kick off, an expected finish for finalists around 4pm all in 30 plus degrees, with constant sun exposure and playing the game they love on a hot artificial pitch. FJ TOTW Matchday weekend 1

TML 14 kicked off with 7 league matches and a 16 team Summer 7s tournament so competition to claim the first FJ TOTW was fierce. Notable preformances from Zion FC in Division 2 beating El Diego 4-1 and also TML newboys FC Sagarmartha winning thier first match. FJ Team of the Week 12

With only 2 matches played last weekend It was between Zion FC and Real Celts for having the honor of receiving the last FJ TOTW award of the season. As they scored 6 goals and one more than the Celts, Zion FC have won it. With 3 goals in the first half from Kohei Shiozaki, Yuki Kadowaki and Yusuke Kawano, there was no coming back for Dutch FC. Another 3 goals late in the 2nd half made it an enjoyable evenings work for the men in green. Well done Zion FC.
